Tire Rotation Patterns

Regular tire rotation helps to even out tread wear which is important to prolonging the life of your tires and keeping them performing at their best. Ā

Whether you are doing the job at home or bringing your vehicle in to have one of our professionals do the work for you, there are a few things to keep in mind.

    Ā Ā Ā
  • While it is recommended to rotate your tires at every oil change, you should always follow the guidelines in your vehicle's owner manual for both timing as well as the appropriate rotation pattern for your vehicle.Ā Ā Ā
  • In cases where the tread depth on your front tires differs significantly from the tread depth on your rear tires, you should always position the tires with the most amount of tread on the rear.Ā Ā Ā
  • While regularly rotating your tires can help to maintain an even amount of wear on all four tires, it can not correct irregular wear caused by worn mechanical parts, incorrect inflation pressures or alignment problems. Ā Ā Ā
