It's probably a good idea to have them checked as soon as possible if your wiper blades cannot do the simple task of clearing your windows, and you haven't had them replaced in a while. Usually wiper blades take a beating after the winter season and need to be replaced.
Signs You Need New Wiper Blades
- Ineffectiveness in rainy or snowy weather
- Marks or splotches on your windshield
- Noisy sounds while operating
- Splits, gouges, jagged edges or discoloration in the rubber
- Imperfections in the wipe pattern
- Occasional sticking to your vehicle's windshield
- Change in effectiveness after the winter season
