Scion’s Spirit Lives On With Toyota

 


It’s official. Scion has now joined the Toyota family. Earlier this year, it was announced that Scion would be mixed in to the Toyota brand. The Scion iA has become the 2017 Yaris iA, the Scion FR-S is now the Toyota 86, and the Scion iM is now the 2017 Corolla iM.

Scion was initially crated by a group of wanting to design unique vehicles for a brand new generation, while standing out from the crowd. Scion was geared to appeal to a younger audience, all while reflecting their desires.

 

2017 Toyota Corolla iM

The sporty 2017 Toyota Corolla iM comes standard with a black honeycomb grille that shows off its performance pedigree. It also features power-folding and heated outside mirrors that help remove condensation, as well as a sportier suspension. On the inside, the Toyota Corolla iM features an upscale dashboard with a 7-in. touch screen that brings the right amount of tech. The 2017 Corolla iM features a standard back up camera so that you can back up with confidence. Every new Toyota Corolla iM includes Lane Departure Alert (LDA) is designed to help you stay in your lane keeping you safe from harm. The Corolla iM comes with Whiplash-Injury-Lessening (WIL) front seats that can help reduce the severity of whiplash injury in certain rear-end collisions.

 

2017 Toyota 86

The 2017 Toyota 86 is track-proven and street ready.  The Toyota 86 comes with a close-ratio 6-speed transmission for incredible acceleration and impressive fuel economy. The automatic transmission features a manual shift mode, which allows you the opportunity to pick the gear you want via the gear-select lever or steering wheel-mounted paddle shifters. With a pull of the lever, you have the ability to quickly change gears while keeping both hands on the wheel. The body of 86 was engineered to be as light and strong as possible. It helps to boost efficiency and overall performance. What’s more, this unit-body design also puts the engine low to the ground, helping optimize the center of gravity for a truly balanced driving experience. On the inside, the 2017 86 includes a leather-wrapped steering wheel with new integrated audio controls. This allows for easier access to your music, as well as helping you can stay in control of it all. The 2017 Toyota 86 includes standard Hill Start Assist Control, which helps to keep the vehicle from rolling backward when switching from brake to accelerator on an incline. 2017 Toyota Yaris iA

The 2017 Toyota Yaris iA comes standard with unique 16-in. split 5-spoke alloy wheels. The 2017 Yaris iA features Standard Daytime Running Lights, as well as LED turn signal indicators on the outside mirrors. These features provide more safety and style. Inside, the Yaris iA is a comfortable, premium space. The Yaris iA comes standard with remote keyless entry with Push Button Start and W=when equipped with an automatic transmission, the 2017 Yaris iA features a unique manual shift mode. Available options include Sport Mode, which adjusts the engine control unit and shift points to give a sportier feel to your drive and when equipped with an automatic transmission, the 2017 Yaris iA features a unique manual shift mode. The Toyota Yaris iA also features a 7-in. touch-screen display audio system that can be controlled directly by touching the screen and Bluetooth® wireless technology. You will be able to plug I your iPod® or MP3 device in and get access to your music library through the USB ports, or you’ll be able to stream music wirelessly through Bluetooth®. The Yaris iA keeps safety in mind with its standard Low-Speed Pre-Collision System that scans the road ahead for potential vehicle collisions. If the system detects a potential frontal collision, an audio/visual alert and braking assistance are automatically activated. Should the driver not respond, this system may automatically apply the brakes.
